Kitchen Installation in Stoke-on-Trent

Units, worktops, plumbing and finishing in one project

Kitchens, Start to Finish

RC Renovation Ltd installs kitchens across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, typically from £6,000 to £20,000+ depending on layout, units, worktops and alterations. We remove the old kitchen, fit units and worktops, and handle plumbing, appliance connections, associated electrical work, plastering, tiling and, where agreed, flooring as one project.

A kitchen is more than units on a wall. It is plumbing, associated electrical work, appliances, plastering, tiling and flooring, all of which have to come together. We handle the whole project with one team, so you are not chasing separate trades or waiting on someone else to finish.

Buy your kitchen from us, from a supplier you like, or from IKEA and similar retailers, and we will fit it. We can change the layout, move the sink, add an island, relocate radiators and advise on design so the finished room works the way you cook and live.

If you want an open-plan space, we can assess removing a wall. Structural work is checked properly and any Building Regulations requirements are explained before anything happens. If problems are hiding behind the old kitchen, we tell you and agree the cost before carrying on.

We protect your home while we work, keep disruption to a minimum and take the rubbish away where agreed. Every kitchen is backed by our workmanship warranty, with manufacturer warranties on units and appliances applying separately.

We provide a clear quotation based on the work involved.

What does a kitchen installation include?

Depending on your quotation, we can provide a complete kitchen installation including removal of the existing kitchen, installation of units and worktops, plumbing, appliance connections, electrical work, plastering, tiling and associated renovation work.

Do you remove the old kitchen?

Yes. We can remove existing kitchen units, worktops, sinks and other fittings where this is included in your quotation. Waste removal can also be arranged.

Do you supply the kitchen?

Yes. We can help supply the kitchen units, worktops, sinks, taps and other components required for your project. Alternatively, we can install a kitchen supplied by the customer, provided the products are suitable.

Can I choose my own kitchen units and worktops?

Yes. You can choose the style, colour, units, handles, worktops, sink, taps and other finishes. We can also advise you on suitable options for your space and budget.

Can you change the layout of my kitchen?

Yes. We can make layout changes where practical, including relocating sinks, appliances and plumbing. Additional plumbing, electrical or building work may be required depending on the new layout.

Can you install kitchen appliances?

Yes. We can install and connect suitable kitchen appliances as part of the agreed works. Appliance connections will depend on the type of appliance and the plumbing, gas and electrical requirements.

Can you install gas appliances?

Gas appliance work will only be carried out by appropriately qualified persons where required. Gas installations will be completed in accordance with applicable regulations and manufacturer requirements.

Can you move the sink?

Yes. We can relocate the kitchen sink where practical. Moving the sink may require new hot and cold water supplies and waste pipework.

Can you install or move radiators?

Yes. Radiators can be installed, replaced or relocated where required. Any changes to heating pipework will be included in the quotation where applicable.

Do you carry out kitchen plumbing?

Yes. Our plumbing services can include hot and cold water pipework, waste pipework, sink and tap installation, appliance connections and other plumbing required for the kitchen.

Do you carry out electrical work?

Yes. Electrical work can be included where required and will be undertaken by appropriately competent persons. This may include kitchen sockets, lighting, extractor fans and appliance connections, depending on the project.

Can you install kitchen lighting?

Flooring can be included where specifically agreed in the quotation. We can discuss suitable flooring options depending on the kitchen and existing floor condition.

Can you remove a wall to create an open-plan kitchen?

Potentially, yes. We can assess the proposed alteration. If the wall is structural, additional structural assessment, calculations, Building Regulations approval or other requirements may apply.

What happens if you find problems behind the existing kitchen?

Once the old kitchen is removed, hidden problems can sometimes be discovered, such as damaged pipework, leaks, damp, rotten flooring, defective wiring or structural issues. We will explain any problems found and discuss additional work and costs before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

Do I need to choose everything before work starts?

Ideally, yes. Kitchen units, worktops, sinks, taps, appliances, tiles, flooring and finishes should be selected before installation wherever possible. This helps prevent delays and ensures everything is compatible.

How long does a kitchen installation take?

Do you provide design advice?

Yes. We can discuss your requirements and provide practical advice on the layout, plumbing, heating, appliances and installation requirements. Where a specialist kitchen designer is required, you may need to use an external design service.
