Bathrooms in Stoke-on-Trent

Full bathroom refits handled by one team, start to finish

Bathrooms, Start to Finish

RC Renovation Ltd installs complete bathrooms across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, typically from £9,000 to £16,000+ depending on size, fittings and the work involved. One team handles the strip-out, plumbing, tiling, plastering and associated electrics, so you are not juggling separate trades.

A new bathroom usually means a plumber, a tiler, a plasterer and an electrician, and someone has to coordinate them all. With us it is one team. We strip out the old room, carry out the plumbing, tiling, plastering and associated electrical work, and fit the new suite.

Choose your own tiles, sanitaryware, taps and showers, or let us supply them and advise on what will suit the space. We can move the toilet, basin or shower where it is practical, and assess knocking a separate toilet and bathroom into one room.

Renovation can uncover hidden problems such as old pipework, leaks or damp. If we find something, we explain it and discuss the cost with you before carrying on wherever reasonably possible.

Every bathroom comes with our workmanship warranty, with manufacturer warranties applying separately to the products. We keep the work area tidy, take the waste away where agreed, and hand back a room you will enjoy using every day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bathroom Installations FAQs

How much does a bathroom installation cost?

Bathroom installations typically cost £9,000 to £16,000+. The cost of a bathroom installation depends on the size of the bathroom, the fixtures and fittings selected, the condition of the existing room and the amount of plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling and building work required. We provide a clear quotation based on your requirements.

What does a bathroom installation include?

Depending on the agreed specification, our bathroom installations can include removal of the existing bathroom, installation of a new bathroom suite, WC, basin and taps, shower tray and enclosure, shower valve and fittings, pipework, wastes and traps, tiling, plastering and other associated works.

Do you remove the old bathroom?

Yes. We can remove the existing bathroom suite and associated fixtures as part of the installation where this is included in the quotation. We can also arrange removal of waste where agreed.

Can you move the toilet, basin or shower?

Yes. We can relocate bathroom fixtures where practical. Moving sanitaryware may require new water supplies, waste pipework, drainage alterations or additional building work. Any additional requirements will be discussed before the work proceeds.

Do you supply the bathroom suite?

Yes. We can supply bathroom suites and individual fixtures and fittings, or we can install products selected and supplied by the customer, subject to them being suitable for installation.

Can I choose my own tiles and bathroom fittings?

Yes. Customers can choose their preferred tiles, sanitaryware, taps, showers, furniture and finishes. We can also advise you on suitable products and specifications.

Do you carry out the plumbing work?

Yes. Plumbing is one of our core services. We can install or modify hot and cold water supplies, waste pipework, traps, valves, shower plumbing and other bathroom plumbing requirements.

Do you carry out tiling?

Yes. Tiling can be included as part of a complete bathroom renovation where agreed in the quotation.

Do you carry out plastering?

Yes. We can undertake plastering and associated preparation where required as part of the bathroom installation.

Can you install bathroom electrics?

Electrical work can be included where required, subject to the scope of the project and applicable electrical regulations. This can include suitable lighting, extractor fans, switches and other bathroom electrical requirements.

Can you remove a wall between a separate toilet and bathroom?

Potentially, yes. If you want to combine a separate toilet and bathroom, we can assess the proposed alteration. Any structural wall removal will need to be assessed appropriately, and additional structural or Building Regulations requirements may apply.

Will you check the existing plumbing?

Yes. We will assess the existing plumbing and drainage where reasonably accessible. If we find defective or unsuitable pipework, additional remedial work may be required.

How long does a bathroom installation take?

The timescale depends on the size and complexity of the project. A straightforward bathroom replacement may take several days, while a complete renovation involving plumbing alterations, tiling, plastering or structural work can take longer. We will provide an estimated timescale with your quotation.

Do you take care of the waste?

Waste removal can be included where specifically stated in your quotation. We can remove old bathroom fixtures and construction waste as agreed.

What happens if you find hidden problems?

Renovation work can reveal hidden problems such as damaged pipework, leaks, damp, rotten flooring, defective drainage or previous poor workmanship. If additional work is required, we will explain the issue and discuss the cost with you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes. RC Renovation Ltd provides a workmanship warranty, subject to the terms of our agreement. Manufacturer warranties will apply separately to boilers, appliances, sanitaryware, taps and other products where applicable.

Do I need to provide anything before the work starts?

We will normally need access to the property and the bathroom area to carry out the work. You may also need to make decisions regarding tiles, sanitaryware, taps, showers, colours and finishes before installation begins.

Do you provide a free quotation?

We can provide a quotation following an assessment of the work required. The quotation will set out the agreed scope of works and the associated costs.
